Descience Named Finalist for Bostinno's 50 on Fire Award in Design

Bostinno named Descience as a finalist in the Design category for their annual '50 on Fire' awards, taking place this Thursday, December 3, at the Boston Court House. The 50 on Fire is an annual awards ceremony hosted by Bostinno, a digital city news site that targets the young, tech savvy generation. The awards are offered in a variety of different categories including dining, education, healthcare, sports, marketing, and technology. Finalists and eventual winners are chosen for their ingenuity, innovation, and intensity; Bostinno says they are looking to honor the city's 'biggest game changers'. Bostinno selected a short-list of ten to twenty finalists in each category in mid October, and will announce the fifty winners at Thursday's ceremony.

Descience was selected for its global community of creative minds at the interface of fashion and science, as well as its work to curate the Fashion 4WRD event at the MFA to kickoff the upcoming MFA exhibition #techstyle in early 2016.
